Master Gardener Program
By providing education-based instruction methods incorporated with the latest scientific research, the Master Gardener program capitalizes on the desire of Florida citizens to learn more about horticulture in exchange for a predetermined number of volunteer hours returned to the individual county. Highlands County MG Scholarship Program
Each year the Master Gardeners have one plant sale to raise funds for Master Gardener Scholarships. In 2006 we funded three $1,000 scholarships that were awarded to Highlands County High School students. This 2009/2010 school year we are going to be awarding three $1,000 scholarships.
